The Employer of Choice Committee serves as the state’s HR Employer of Choice advisory and coordinating group. The committee works collaboratively with the HR community, OFM State HR, DES Workforce Support and Development, and agency HR offices to support strategic efforts across state government to become an employer of choice.

Purpose

The committee provides HR leadership in state government’s effort to become an employer of choice. It will provide feedback and input, develop recommendations, and make decisions on employer of choice strategies.

In 2019 the Employer of Choice Committee began working to assemble research and resources on priorities identified by HR managers. They will be releasing information on new topics every other month. Stay tuned for new developments.
