American Community Survey
Other websites:
The American Community Survey (ACS) is an ongoing survey of the nation's population that provides detailed demographic, housing, social, and economic data—data that used to be collected via the decennial census long form.
ACS estimates are released annually for geographic areas that meet specific population thresholds. One-year estimates are available for geographic areas with a minimum population of 65,000. Five-year estimates are available for all geographic areas regardless of population size. ACS estimates are period estimates in that they represent characteristics over a 12 or 60 month period.
