Instructions to Testify Remotely
Although it is not required to give advance notice to provide oral comment, if you know in advance you would like to provide comment on the proposed exhibit items appearing on this agenda, please email classandcomp@ofm.wa.gov by 5:00 p.m. one business day prior to the meeting; include your name, job title, and agency or institution or organization you are representing. Providing advance notice will allow the facilitators to coordinate the meeting efficiently. Persons signed up to comment will be added to the meeting roster which will be available to the Assistant Director of the State Human Resources Division on the day of the Director's meeting. The individuals who provided advance notice will be called upon first.
If you are not listed on the meeting roster but wish to speak to a proposed item, you will be asked to place your name in the zoom chat at the appropriate time. If you are participating via phone, you may unmute and request to comment at that time. You will be asked to clearly state your name, job title, and agency or other organization you are representing for the record.
Comments may be time-limited to afford all interested individuals an opportunity to speak. Please note oral comment is not needed if you have submitted written comment. Written comment may be submitted during the hearing, and the same consideration will be given to written comment as oral comment.
During the remote meeting proceedings all participants must mute their phone or microphone while in attendance of the meeting to prevent background noise and only unmute to provide comment.
