MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, FLOATING BRIDGE
Definition
Typical Work
Supervises the inspection of structures for condition and necessary repairs on a preventative maintenance basis or damage repair;
Plans the work, including maintenance and repair procedures, determination of fund availability, staffing and procurement and delivery of materials;
Ensures that maintenance and reconstruction plans, specifications, policies, and manual provisions are adhered to;
Supervises the maintenance of accounting and personnel records and the preparation of required reports;
Assigns, trains and evaluates subordinate personnel;
Assists in the performance of all functions of the Bridge Maintenance Superintendents' responsibilities;
Maintains good personnel, safety and public relation practice;
Performs other related work as required.

Desirable Qualifications
AND
One year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Bridge, or Maintenance Supervisor or two years of experience as a Maintenance Lead Technician, Bridge, or Maintenance Lead Technician, Suspension Bridge.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with endorsement N and without air brakes restriction is required. Some positions may require the H endorsement.
Equivalent education/experience.
Note: Must be capable of working at heights exceeding 100 feet and inside a confined space environment.
