Business costs
The Washington Business Tax and Premiums database contains data and imputations for every business that is registered in Washington state and reports at least one employee. The data is reported by businesses to the Employment Security Department, the Department of Revenue, and the Department of Labor and Industries. Data from these three agencies is merged. Imputations of other business costs are added by the Office of Financial Management. Data on individual businesses are confidential, and therefore cannot be disclosed. However, the website gives access to data aggregated by business size, export status, age and industry.
