Definition
Under the supervision of faculty or staff, presents themselves for artists to draw, paint, sculpt or photograph.
Typical Work
Poses for students and professional artists in classrooms or studios for paintings, figure drawings and/or sculptural nude modeling sessions;
Holds poses or facial expressions for extended periods of time;
Changes poses, facial expressions and gestures to display the impression the artist wants;
Performs other duties as required.

Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to: follow directions; maintain a static pose for up to 30 minutes at a time; sit, stand, stoop, lie down.

Desirable Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 18 years of age.
