2021 Higher Ed SWHR Change Order Testing Instructions
To test updates needed to comply with the 2021 HE Change Order, 4-year higher education institutions and the State Board of Community & Technical Colleges have the opportunity to submit test files to OFM from May 15 – June 29, 2021.
Instructions
Using the standard naming convention, upload a complete set of files to the test SFT site: https://sft-test.wa.gov/
Submit a request to heretohelp@ofm.wa.gov to process the files. Note: It could take up to 48 hours after the request for the files to be processed.
OFM will notify the requestor when file processing has completed and will upload the validation reports to the test SFT site.
Implementation
Changes are scheduled for production on June 30, 2021.
All 4-year higher education institutions and the State Board of Community & Technical Colleges must have clean and compliant files.
If data for any single institution fails to pass validation and load by July 10th, the process to create extracts in support of mandatory federal reporting will fail, affecting all higher education institutions and general government agencies.
Any institution that cannot meet the deadline for compliant data by June 30 must notify strategichr@ofm.wa.gov by June 15, 2021. This allows for discussion and implementation of mitigation strategies.
