DES Central Services

Apprenticeship Premiums

Incarcerated Pre-Apprentice Support
One-time funding is provided for a grant to a statewide non-profit organization for new work boots, support services, case management and navigation services to state recognized pre-apprenticeship participants in correctional facilities. Apprenticeship Utilization

Conveyance Management System
Funding is provided to complete the Conveyance Management System IT project, including contracted services and software. PTSD Presumptive Claims Study

Registered Nurses PTSD Adjustment

Surgical Smoke Evacuation System

Wage Complaints Adjustment

State Employee Benefits
Funding is provided to increase the retiree health insurance subsidy, adjusting the cap from $183 to $193 per month and raising the base subsidy percentage from 50 percent to 60 percent. The insurance funding rates are set at $1,145 per month for fiscal year 2024 and $1,158 per month for fiscal year 2025.
