UW Clean Energy Testbeds

Funding is provided to build at the UW Clean Energy Institute a community resource for creating, testing and validating technologies, while developing the people and building partnerships needed to accelerate a scalable clean energy future. To achieve this, $5 million is provided to construct a modular dry room, perform necessary electrical infrastructure upgrades to the leased building, and purchase manufacturing equipment, and $2.5 million is provided for capital equipment to bolster existing materials capabilities at the testbeds.
