ACCESS Database Replacement Project
The Columbia River Gorge Commission uses a 15-year-old ACCESS database to track and monitor land use permit applications and compliance. The commission's outdated database will be replaced with a modern, customizable, and cloud-based system, thereby improving efficiency, standardizing operating procedures, and eliminating cumbersome manual data entry and re-work. All historic case work, land use permit files and communications will be centralized to enable staff to respond to public records and information requests rapidly and with greater accuracy. Funding is subject to the conditions, limitations, and review requirements of section 701 of this act. (General Fund - Local, General Fund - State, General Fund - Private/Local)
State Employee Benefits
Health insurance funding is provided for state employees who are not represented by a union, who are covered by a bargaining agreement that is not subject to financial feasibility determination, or who are not part of the coalition of unions for health benefits. The insurance funding rate is $988 per employee per month for fiscal year 2022 and $1,018 per employee per month for fiscal year 2023.
