Additional matching funds are provided for federally approved Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) projects. RCPP is a U.S. Department of Agriculture program originating with the 2014 federal Farm Bill. RCPP funds projects to increase the restoration and sustainable use of soil, water, wildlife and related natural resources on regional or watershed scales.

In 2019 supplemental capital budget, the Legislature provided the State Conservation Commission an additional $350,000 funding for bridge loans to private landowners who have installed riparian buffers under the Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program's Practice Incentive Payment and are awaiting final reimbursement by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This funding is provided for missed reappropriation in the 2019-21 biennial capital budget.
